Our second Collection “Ek Sien Jou” collection is an amalgamation of Pakistani Architectural patterns and West-African textiles as well as blending silhouettes that exist as an everyday wear in both cultures. The natural gravitation to natural fibres and focusing on every component of the garment construction is explored through culture rich textiles and timeless shapes .
This collection draws inspiration from the rich historical symbolism and cultural narratives of West & Southern Africa, as well as the intricate patterns found in Pakistani Architecture. The focus is on timeless, luxurious, and comfortable staple pieces, taking cues from the everyday lifestyles styles prevalent in both cultures. The designers emphasize sustainability throughout their supply chain drawing from their backgrounds in Pakistan and Ghana, where those practices are ingrained in everyday life. The embroidered motifs were handmade with care by Pakistani Craftswomen in the village town of Baffa, Mansehra, Khudijas Hometown.
The collection showcases circularity through compostable and surplus materials, handmade copper clay buttons, sustainably sourced zippers, and wood cellulose threads, reflecting a commitment to eco-conscious, artisinal and regenerative fashion. The colors featured are derived from nature with shades of green, purple, ashy grey, tones of brown and cream.
